Kura Technologies Limited holds a Class 3 Financial Advice Provider license (FSP1012473) under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. View our full listing here.
We only advise on our own products. Kura is not able to compare our cover against other insurers, and we don't try to. If you're switching from another provider, we'll walk you through what you'd be gaining and giving up so you can make an informed decision, but we won't tell you we're cheaper or better than someone else. That's for you to decide.
Our Nominated Representatives operate under Kura's licence and are trained and supervised accordingly.

FSP number conflict This page writes the licence number as FSP1012473. The regulatory strip on Meet the Founders writes it as [FSP123456}. Only one can be right and neither has been confirmed. The register listing behind "here" has no URL on the board, and the Disclosure Statement file has not been supplied — the line above is copied verbatim, including Statment.
Your policy is underwritten by xyz, rated xyz by xyz. This rating reflects their ability to meet their claims obligations. Full detail is available on xys's own disclosure pages.
Underwriter not named The board leaves the capacity provider, the rating and the rating agency as xyz, and misspells the possessive as xys's. The same company appears as .... on Our Partners.
Cartrack NZ co-owns Kura, and their devices power our pricing model. This means Cartrack benefits commercially whether or not their equipment is objectively the best choice available. We manage this by keeping Cartrack's interests at an arm's length in decision-making, and benchmarking their fees and service against the market each year to ensure we are giving you the best possible solution.
Our Nominated Representatitves are paid a flat fee of $50 per bound policy rather than a percentage of your premium. There is no incentive for them to recommend you more cover than you need.
Becaause Kura only advises on its own products, we are definitely incentivised to recommend them over anyone else's. Our advice process is designed to genuinely test whether our product suits your needs, and is designed to align with the FMA's Code of Conduct for Financial Advice Providers, but this is still something we disclose plainly every time.
Copy check Three items copied verbatim from the board: Representatitves, Becaause, and the sentence "we are definitely incentivised" — which reads as though a word such as "clearly" or "obviously" was intended. The $50 flat fee is the board's own figure, not an invented one.
Policy documents not supplied The board lists the three policies but no documents or destinations sit behind them, so the names are not linked yet. The Home page and the What is Pay-Per-K? page both link "Privacy Policy" to this panel.
Placeholder number 09 123 4567 is the board's placeholder — the link is wired up as required by the "Phone number clickable" sticky, but the number is not a real Kura line. Do not dial.
